In accordance with the regrading of positions in the First Division of the Railways Department, the following additional provisional appointments have been decided upon in the maintenance branch: — District engineer, Wanganui, H. Murison ; assistant district engineer, Christchurch. 11. C. Lusty; assistant district engineer, Dunedin, C. G. Wilson; assistant engineer, new works, Auckland, J. Dow; assistant engineer, new works. Christchurch, G. A. K. Simmers ; first assistant engineer, Invercargill, R. H.. Lovatt; chief clerk, assistant engineer’s office, Auckland, F. W- Phillips ; chief clerk, district engineer's office.
