Fish heads and bottles are by no means ornaments, and they play a big part in lessening the attraction of several of Auckland’s most popular scenic resorts (states the Star). Left lying about the beadhps' by careless fishermen, or washed up by the tide, the heads of schnapper soon become offensive, while bottles are always a source of danger to bathers and children who paddle about.
