Wherever a bursary was granted by a board it should be on the definite understanding that the nurse to whom the bursary had been given should return to the employ of the board for al definite stated period (say, two years) l or refund her bursary proportionately to the amount of service that is short of the contracted period. It was decided to grant Sister Waugh! a bursary of £4O for a post graduate course on the conditions laid down by thb Health Department.
