A school of sharks, about 10 in number, was observed in the Auckland Harbour the other day by Mr L. E. Cammell, of St. Helier’s (states the Star). He reports that they were encountered at a spot about midway between Takapuna and Brown’s Bay. They were of an average length of about Bft, and one was of the hammerhead variety. Mr Cammell’s launch passed quite close to the sharks, which -appeared to be basking near the surface.
