While in London I was informed that there would be a good market for New Zealand eggs,” states Mr R. W. Hawke, of Christchurch, who returned recently from an extended tour of the Old Country and Canada, during which he attended the World’s Poultry Conference at Ottawa, as the delegate from New Zealand. “ They were the equal of any that I saw, and they would reach the markets there when Denmark and the rest of Europe,'where most of the Home supply comes from, were in the depths of winter. A strange thing about tho London market is that unwashed eggs command a readier sale than clean ones, the reason being that eggs that are slightly dirty are believed to have come straight from the nests.
