There is a good deal of speculation in Auckland and elsewhere regarding the names of those who are behind the United New Zealand Political Organisation which has had its birth in the city. However, it was announced by the organiser (Mr A. E. Davy) to-day that the personnel of the new organisation would be announced publicly only when the movement has been established in the four centres. Mr Davy will leave Auckland for Wellington on Sunday, as he intends to launch a branch of the new political organisation in the Capital next week. From there he will journey to Christchurch and Dunedin, where branches will also be established. The latest communication expressing congitauations at the flotation of the new organisation has come from the Deader of the Nationalist Party (Mr G. W. Forbes), and an acknowledgment of the good wishes has been made by Mr Davy. The communications read as follows: — Mr Forbes to Mr Davy.—“ Congratulations on the flotation of a new party. It is well done and should provide a allying point for all those who desire well of their country. Have given the papers an interview welcoming its appearance.” Mr Davy to Mr Forbes.—“My executive desires me to thank you for the congratulations ami good wishes expressed in your telegram and press interviews. The pronounced support offering from ail quarters assures the success of the new cooperative movement in linking up all those whose purpose it is to secure for this Dominion a truly constructive administration.”
