By his will the late Mr John O'Kane, of Wellington, has made generous provision for various charitable, educational, and religious objects operating in Greater Wellington. Among the bequests, which total £5OOO, are £750 each to St. Joseph’s Orphanage, Upper Hutt, and the Roman Catholic building fund, Wellington.
