TRAIN ROBBERY IN ENGLAND.

CHARGES AGAINST FOSTER. EXTRADITION ORDER GRANTED. WELLINGTON, August 25. Mr E. Page, S.M., granted an extradition order to-day against Joseph Foster, who is required in England to face charges in connection with the £lO,OOO train robbery, in which Foster is alleged to be the perpetrator of the theft of a mail bag, or its receiver. Foster, who is the son of a pastor stationed for some years at Hamilton and Waihi, came to the Dominion from England last March, and was 'arrested at Hamilton by a constable who recognised him. having known him as a boy.

Air T. M. Wilford. for the accused, said the charges, of which there are eight, were not admitted, and accused said that he would be able to clear himself.
