WEDNESDAY, 28th September.—Acceptances for all events close with the Secretary at Kurow at 7 o’clock p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The winner of any race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71b, and for every additional win a further penalty of 71b extra. The winner of any Hurdle Race after declaration of handicaps to be rehandicapped. 2. The winner of the Waitaki Trot to be rehandicapped. 2a. In both Trots horses will be handicapped by the yards system. 3. Owners of horses starting for the first time after being registered with the association must produce their copy of the completed registration form to the Stipendiary Steward at this meeting. Horses to be examined to be in the birdcage ready for inspection at least one hour before starting time of first race. 4. One pound Provident Fund must be paid to the N.Z. Trotting Association on all trotting horses before Nomination, otherwise a fine of £5 will be imposed. 5. Races will be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. 6.
