After their long voyage around the world the Chums found it very difficult to settle down. They both felt that they ought to find something useful with which to occupy their time, remembering the old adage that “ Satan will find mischief still for idle hands to do.” “ The thing is,” said Teddy, “ we must find work—but where shall we find it?” “ Oh, that’s easy,” answered Golly. “We are certain to find it in the dictionary I” “ Why not look around,” said Teddy, “ and watch other people work. Then we are likely to find the most suitable occupation for ourselves.” “ I know what you'll choose,” grinned Golly. “It will be a job where there is not much hard labour attached to it!” So off the two Chums started in their quest for employment.
