RETURNED SOLDIERS’ ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the executive c.f the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association was held on Tuesday evening. The president (Air A. C. Laing) occupied the chair. The nosiiwlions of three new members, one honorary member, and one transfer •outwards were approved. The Secretary of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association wrote regard,ing General Sir Andrew Russell's tour. The itinerary would be as follows August 9. Timaru, Studholme Junction, Waimate; August 10, Timaru, Oamaru; August 11, Dunedin; August 12. Gore; August 12, Invercargill ; August 15, Orari. It was decided to entertain Sir Andrew at a social function in the club rooms, tho executive to be represented at the Gore re-union, which he will attend. Mr VV. Black, Mayor of Alexandra, forwi.ided £3 19s, the proceeds of an Anzac Day collection. — Members expressed appreciation of dona tiot
