POPULATION OF DOMINION.
SLIGHT DECREASE FOR JUNE QUARTER. WELLINGTON, August 4. A return in the Gazette shows that the population of the Dominion together with its dependencies and Samoa is estimated at the end of June at 1,494,406, comprising 763,812 males and 730,594 females.
