A young lady employed as a telephone girl was spending a short holiday in a V cst Coast town. , Arrangements were made for an carlv start to a picnic one day, but when the little alarm clock on the dressing table went off. it failed to awaken the telephone girl. “I’m sorry I rang your bell by mistake.” she murmured. Then all was still again !
