The following resolution was passed at a meeting of representatives of the Timaru on Tuesday last:—(1) “That tlris meeting of representatives of the South Island butter factories urges the Government not to increase the duty on butter box and cheese crate timber.” (2) “ That this meeting of South Island butter factories urges disapproval of the suggested Daylight Saving Bill.”
