Stewart Island has gained another record recently by having the most southerly picture show in the world. A firm has installed the “Southern Cross” pictures, screening productions every Saturday evening (says an exchange). That the innovation is appreciated by the residents is apparent every Saturday when the hall is packed to witness the screening.
