TIMBER WORKERS.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS. WELLINGTON. August 7. At Friday’s sitting of the New Zealand Timber Workers’ Federation tho following officers were elected: —President, Mr T. O’Bryne (Southland): vice-president, Mr C. Lucas (Otago); secretary and treasurer, Mr E. Parlane (Canterbury): executive — one delegate from each district. The conference is now engaged drawnig up proposals for a Dominion award.
