SUVA. August 5. The Canadian team defeated a team from 11.M.5. Diomede by 2 goals to 1SATURDAY'S MATCHES. The final matches but one of the second round for the Division I competition were played on Saturday. Although Northern, the leading team, drew with Otago High School, Seacliff, next on the list were beaten by Morningaon, and Northern now have a lead of six points from Maori Hill, who have still a match to play with Seacliff. WESTPORT, August 6. The match for the Emms Shield was played this afternoon in wet weather. Nelson (challengers) were defeated by Buller (holders) by eight goals to two. The scorers for Buller were: White 3, Newman 2, Steel 2, and Chapman 1. For Nelson, Guy scored both goals. Buller had 1 tter control of the ball, and showed all-round superiority. Nelson, on occasions, did good work, both in defence and attack, but lacked the combination of the shield holders. WELLINGTON REPRESENTATIVE TEAM. WELLINGTON, August 6.
