DAVIDSON.—On the 6th August, 1927, at his residence,» 557 Hereford street, Christchurch, result of accident, George Rhind (Dod), beloved second son of Mrs Davidson, 28 Harrow street, and the late George Davidson ; in his forty-third year. Deeply mourned.

DILLON.—On August 5, 1927, at Naseby Hospital, Patrick Dillon, sen., Blackstone Hill (native of Bullycrine, County Clare, Ireland); aged 77 yeare.

FINLAY.—At his late residence, Heriot, on August 5, James, dearly beloved husband of Mary Finlay; in his eighty-third year.

HALL.—On August 7, 1927, at Oamaru, Mary Wel-h, widow of the late Alexander Hall, of "Melrose,” Waiareka : aged G2 years. Deeply mourned. HAUGH.—On August 5, 1927, at Gore, David Haugh, late of Ettrick and Dunrobin. “At rest.”

MARSHALL.—On July 31. at his residence, 43 Moray place, Dunedin (suddenly), Angus M’Phee Marshall, M. 8., Ch.B., dearly beloved husband of Grace Marshall, fourth son of Angus and Margaret Marshall.

Moffat, Huntly Farm, Waikaia ; aged 89 years.
