It was getting late when the last of the precious treasure was safely stowed in the hold of the Sauey Sue. . . , “ Tell you what; messmates,” said the captain jovially, ne ought to celebrate our good fortune with a bit of a feast! ’ “ I’m famished,” said Golly. “ So am I,” added Teddy. . . , It wasn’t long before they had an appetising meal prepared, and they all sat around the table to enjoy it. Suddenly a rumbling noise was heard, which was followed by a nash of lightning. The ship gave a terrific lurch, and Teddy, who was at that moment reaching over the table, overbalanced and fell into tne soup. They “fished” him out, and all rushed on deck. Vivid flashes of lightning lit up the sky. Huge seas tossed the Saucy Sue aou like a cork. What was happening? There appeared to .be a tremendous earthquake as the tornado increased, and, before their eyes, the treasure Island disappeared from view! Could their gallant ship survive the storm?
