THE NELSON MYSTERY
NELSON, July 27. A further move to clear up the Ryan mystery was made by the police to-day, when Charles Hogg was charged with assaulting Ryan at Upper Moutere, and of robbing him of £2O. The accused was remanded till August 10. Ryan was recently found in a Nelson hotel with a fractured skull and other injuries. He had lost a considerable sum of money in a manner for which ho was unable to account.
