CHASED BY A BULL.
HARRIER'S RACE FOR LIFE. WANGANUI. July 31. Wanganui harriers were out for a run yesterday, but an accident happened to one of the leading members. He had established a good load, and was crossing a field when he was attacked by a bull. He ran for his life, closely pursued by the animal, and gained a victory -*• the nearest fence by a few inches. Being a good hurdler he cleared the fence in flue style, but unfortunately, in landing, he sprained one foot badly. He had a most painful time getting home, his course being out of the run of motor cars.
