With a view to enabling readers to readily follow the trend of stock prices at Otago’s chief market from week to week, the following diagrams showing approximately the weekly averages of top prices at Burnside market of beef, butchers’ mutton and lamb from January 5 to June 29, 1927, have been prepared, and for comparison the ruling prices for the same period for 1926 are given. Beef is quoted at per 1001 b and wether mutton and lamb at- per lb dead weight.
