DAIRY FACTORY MANAGERS.
PALMERSTON NORTH, June 16. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers’ Association was held to-day. The annual report recorded a satisfactory financial position and a revival of interest in the Auckland district, also an. advance in the quality of butter and cheese. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr G. Woods (Taranaki); provincial executive—Messrs E. Petersen (Auckland), E. Hall (Manawatu), A. Inglis (Taranaki), W. Delahunty (Hawke’s Bay), R. Foss (Bush District), J. Middleton (South Island), J. Brash (Wairarapa); secretary. Mr. A. F. Neilson. A remit from Taranaki, urging monthly instead of fortnightly holidays, was discussed, and it was decided to request factories to view sympathetically 1 the hardship in this connection inflicted on managers under the award.
