The advantage of a knowledge of the Bible was demonstrated recently in an Auckland institution (says the Star), where Scripture lessons are tho order of the day. “And He healed many that were sick of divers diseases,” was th,e subject of the lesson. According to the usual custom, the instructor questioned the children to see if they had fully understood the main points. “What is meant by divers diseases.” was one query put, to which one lady- promptly replied: “Water on the brain, sir !■”
