Now the complete herd, owing to the ill-health of the owner, is to be sold. It is one of the greatest opportunities to buy outstanding Friesian cattle that has so far occurred in the Dominion. Mr Aitchison’s success as a breeder is an object-lesson, as the herd wa founded with two females only, one bred at Longbeach and the other imported from America. From these two only, and by .using a few outside sires for an outcroas of blood, the herd has been developed for. over 30 years.
