A world’s record thresher shark, weighing 6471 b, has been captured on the Russell deep-sea fishing grounds by Colonel Stapleton Cotton, of London (states a Russell correspondent). The previous record for a fish of the same species was held bv Mr Romer Grey, who recently caught a thresher weighing 6201 b.
