The Blenheim Fire Brigade had an unusual cal! on a recent afternoon, when the Railway Department summoned it to fill up with water .the tanks of the locomotive scheduled to draw the Seddon train. A defect in a pump at the railway yards had put the water supply temporarily out of action. The borough mains, plus a length of fire hose, tSpeqdily supplied the deficiency.
