Regulating its , staff according to requirements, the New, Zealand Trade General ’ Motors Corporation is reducing hands at its assembly plants at Petone, Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin. With . a full ouiput during the holiday season 432 hands were employed at Petone, and at the end of Januarj the number was reduced to 412. - It is expected that now that the plant ,is . running under normal conditions the output .will be maintained, with 350 .to ,375 hands,. to,.whicl number a reduction will be xnaje withir the next few weeks.’
