SPECIAL CONDITIONS. 1. Penalty Condition.—The winner of any race after declaration of handicaps may be rehandicapped. 2 All Entries and Acceptances must he addressed to the Secretary, and contain Entrance Money, Name, Description, Age, and Pedigree of Horse, Name of Owner, Colours of Rider, and Name of Trainer. 3. The Committee or Stewards reserve-the right to alter or amend this Programme at any time before the entries are taken. They may also vary the amount of Entry or Acceptance Fees, Date of Entry, and Dates upon which the Handicaps appear, should they think fit to do so. 4. Entries by Telegram or Telephone must be confirmed in writing within SEVEN DAYS, under a penalty of 2sovs (Rules of Racing, Part XV, Rule 5.) 5. Rule 13 of Part XV, Rules of Racing.— By the entering of a horse, every person having, or subsequently acquiring an interest in such horee, shall be deemed thereby to undertake, neither directly nor indirectly, not to make any wager with a Bookmaker in connection with such horse, or any other horse in the race in which-such horse is so entered. . Each . entry shall contain, or, if it do not contain, shall be conclusively assumed to contain such an undertaking; breach whereof shall be deemed a corrupt practice on the Turf within the meaning of Part XXXII of these Rules. 6. Races will be run under the N.Z. Rules of Racing. DEFINITION OF A HACK. A Hack is a horse which has not won a race of the value of 250sovs, or races'of the collective value of 500sovs at time of entry.
