MOVING PICTURE CONFERENCE
WELLINGTON. January 19. Over'so moving picture representatives representing theatres from' Auckland to th’6 Bluff assembled in conference to-day and as a result it was decided to form the New Zealand Exhibitors Association (incorporated) with headquarters in Wellington. Mr E. J. Righton was elected -president and Mr W. Kemball vice-president. The executive elected were: Messrs T. O’Brien, G, Saunders, H. Thompson, O. N. Gillespie, H. W. Shortt.. G, Bridgeford, A. Johnson, Mr J.. Robertson was appointed secretary and treasurer. - ~ It was decided also to hold two general conferences annually, but centres would be formed in the various districts to deal with local affairs and to report to headquarters. _ The executive will meet from time to time as the urgency of the business demands.
