The Tariff Revision Commission commenced its Auckland sittings on Tuesday It is expected that the Auckland sittings will occupy from two to three weeks, during which time evidence will be taken from manufacturers and others who are of the opinion that the tariffs on certain lines of goods should be either increased or reduced. At the conclusion of the Auckland sittings the commission will proceed to Christchurch to take further evidence.
