H.M.S. DUNEDIN.

WARSHIP TO BE REFITTED. AUCKLAND, January 23. After two years and eight months’ service as flagship of the New Zealand division of the navy, H.M.S. Dunedin is to sail from Auckland on Tuesday for England to refit. To-morrow Commodore' G. P. T. C. Swabey will transfer his broad pennant to .H.M.S. Diomede, which.' will be the flagship during the Dunedin’s absence of six months from New Zealand. Captain J. S. M. Ritchie, of the Diomede, will transfer to the Dunedin, and will be in command during the voyage. The Dunedin arrived in Auckland ini May, 1924, with a special service squadron, and when the squadron departed she remained in these waters and replaced H. Chatham as flagship on the New Zealand station. The Dunedin will proceed Home via the Panama Canal.
