Everything possible is being done to expedite the additions to tho Waitomo Caves Hostel, states the Minister in Charge of Tourist Resorts (the Hon. W. Nosworthy), in a letter in reply to the recent protest made bv the Te Kuiti Chamber of Commerce at the delay in the erection of tho new building. “The Government architectural branch of tho Public Works Department advises that tonders will be called for toward the end of the present mopth,’ stated the Minister. It is understood the matter has been in the hands of the Public Works Department for two years.
