A case of interest to sawmillcrs wan heard in the Ohtfkune Magistrate 8 Court on July 13, when the Forestry Department proceeded against Holt Bros., s&wmillers, on a charge of permitting a fire to originate in a State forest by not using spark deflectors on their bush locomotives. Defendants pleaded guilty, and were con%. victed and fined £lO.
