Leaving Tibet the Chums flew south into India. Now India, as you know, is a vast country, and our two young friends could spend quite a long time exploring it, but, of course, as their tour is right round the world they could only pay India a “ flying visit." They had not been landed long when they heard the sound of some weird wind instrument. Peeping cautiously Qver a large mound they saw a wonderful sight! An Indian snake charmer was playing a tune on his instrument and a beautiful snake was making srauous movements too and fro to the melody. “ I hope that snake doesn’t take it into his head to chase us,” said Golly, “ as I left my boy scout’s bugle at home.” “ I believe that snakes are fond of golliwogs,” tittered Teddy, “ but don’t worry,” he added, “ I would get him by the end of his tail and hold him back.” “ It’s my opinion,” replied Golly, “that snakes are all, all tail!” (To bo continued.)
