STABBING AFFRAY.
WELLINGTON, July 0. A stabbing affray occurred to-night on the timber boat, West Conob, lying at the Taranaki street wharf. From what can be gathered the men were playing poker when a quarrel arose. A coloured man named Brigano, aged 20, single, was stabbed In the right thigh. The police are investigating the nffair.
