An unusual sight was witnessed recently in Guyton street, Wanganui, when two Maoris driving a motor-car were seen with b coffin on board. A score of Wanganui mountaineering enthusiasts will visit Mount Ruapehu for the annual gathering of the Ruapehu Ski Club, from August 21 to 31 (reports the Chronicle). A comprehensive programme of sight seeing, climbing, and sports has been arranged Visitors from all parts of the Dominion will be present.
