Conversing with a Southland Times reporter last week, Mr W. B. Mabson stated that from an experience he had., recently it was unsafe to leave cars on the street without removing the switch key. A party of young men made several attempts to remove cars from the front of a house in Forth street. V passerby noticed the men around the cars, and, having his suspicions as to the right of the young men to interfere with these he informed those in the house. When the owner appeared the young men beat a hasty retreat.
