A strange fish was found washed up on Tahuna Beach recently by Mrs Conlon (reports the Neison Mail). It has a length of 25in and a girth of lßJin, and somewhat resembles a schnapper, but has a silvery appearanoe. So far it has not been possible to identify the fish locally, but a photograph is being taken and full details prepared with a view to clearing up the matter.
