That a atoek siding i« a railway croaaing within the meaning o( section 10 ot the Railway Amendment Act, 1913, waa held by Mr E. Page, 8.M., in giving judgment in a case in which W. Judd waa charged with (ailing to slacken the speed of his motor car to 10 miles an hour when approaching the Gear Company’s Petone siding. It waa shown that the line and the yards were constructed and maintained by tne department. A nominal penalty o( IQs was imposed.
