FURTHER BURGLARIES.
WANGANUI PREMISES ENTERED. WANGANUI, July 3. A burglar entered the premises of ?Zr Arthur Body, timber merchant, last evening. He secured a small sum of m-»ney, hut the sa.'e was left intact. Access to the building w as obtained through a window, from which the glass had been removed. SMALL HAUL AT ASHBURTON. ASHBURTON, July 3. Another burglary took place last night, the local office of the Christchurch Press Company being entered, and between £2 and £3 stolen. An *•*•’ ranee was gained by brenking a window in the street and unfastening the catch.
The intruder, it is thought, worked his way across the roof tops from the direction of Albert street, and an entrance was made through a fanlight at the rear of the premises. The place was ransacked, but no money was found.
