THE SPIRAL ROAD.
The new Spiral Road, which passes through some of the finest scenery in New Zealand, was officially opened by the Prime Minister (the Right Hon. J. G. Coates) on May 24. When finally completed it will be one of the main highways of the country south of Taumarunui.
