Charles Roy Stanley, aged 40 years, on Thursday last proved exceedingly expen? sive for him. This morning nt the Policai Court Mr F. K. Hunt. S.M., fined him £SO. In addition, ns his counsel put it, Stanley will have to pay for his own ear and ’thaj one that he collided with in Eden terrace* both cars being absolutely wrecked. Stanley was charged with being intoxU rated while in charge of a motor car, and the Magistrate cancelled his license, but said it would be re-issued when defendant produced a prohibition order ugainst him* self.
