In a report published in the Church’** News, concerning the immigration scheme of the Anglican Church, it is stated that since the middle of May last year there had arrived in Lyttelton 524 nominated 1 immigrants for Canterbury and the West Coast, and 433 for Otago and Southland. The total for New Zealand in 1925 waa nearly 9000. Tho Rev. P. Revell, who is in charge of the arrangements for meeting the immigrants on arrival, estimates that; only 20 per cent, of those who come t<r New Zealand come to the South Island. A n
