An elaborately-fitted laboratory will be maintained at the new fertiliser works at Aramoho, Wanganui, and on occasions farmers will be able to have soil analysed* and will have the benefit of professional advice. Some of the apparatus used in computing proportions of manures and otiier chemical products is extremely deli* cate, and one fitting for the laboratory, of Aramoho will be a weighing slab mounted on massive concrete pillars sunk' through the floor into the ground. On this slab will be balances thnt would,' weigh half a hair with accuracy.
