VISIT TO CENTRAL OTAGO. MOVEMENTS OF THE PARTY. The Prime Minister (the RDht Hon. J. G. Coates), the Hon. A. D. M'Leod (Minister of Lands), and the Hon. 0. J. Hawken (Minister of Agriculture) arrived in Dunedin on Saturday evening. The Hon. Mr M’Leod left for Central Otago on Sunday morning, and Mr Coates and Mr Hawken left for the same district by a special train at 7.30 a.m. yesterday. The following is the itinerary of the tour: — Tuesday, March 2.—Leave Queenstown, via Lake Hayes, for Arrowtown, and then via Crown Range; noon, arrive Pembroke, lunch there, and leave by motor, via Hawea Flat, and thence Tai ras, to inspect irrigation works; 3.30, leave Tarras; 4.30, arrive Cromwell and receive deputations; 5.30, leave for Clyde; 6.30, arrive Clyde, and then proceed to Alexandra. Wednesday, March 3. —Leave Alexandra and proceed, via Galloway and Low’s Saddle, to Manorburn Dara; return, via Ida Valley, to Wedderburn for lunch, and then prococd j Upper Manuherikia Dam site; 4 p.m., leave dam site and proceed. via Gimmerburn, Puketoi, Linnburn, Patearoa, Waipiata, and Ranfurly, to Naseby.
