SYDNEY, May 13. Anzao Day wus fixed by tho New South Wales Junior Cricket Union for the final match North Sydney v. Balmain Juniors for tho MaTtin Shield. North Sydney previously informed the union that they would not play owing to the sacredness of Anzac Day, and the union awarded the shield to Balmain. The North Sydney team thereupon held a meeting of protest, and decided to secede from the union. The mover of the motion declared that they would rather sacrifice the shield than be falso to their fallen comrades.
