Changes in the superannuation system are desired by the Grey mouth branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, and to that end the following resolution wa-s passed at the last monthly meeting: “That this branch ask your executive to negotiate for the Superannuation Fund to be fixed on a voluntary basis instead of on a compulsory basis, a-s at present, and that all members of the permanent- staff be allowed to draw their money out if they so wish, and new members, on joining the service, shall have the option of joining the fund or not.” WHEN WINTER COMES! Mothers of families need a supply of reliable cough and cold mixture. Buying bottle after bottle of ordinary remedies is dreadfully extravagant. Why not get concentrated Heenzo (Hean’s Essence) and add water and sweetening at home? ITeenzo costs only 2s 6d—it produces a pint of finest cough and cold mixture. This would cost anything from 15s to 30s in the ordinary way. Heenzo is made by a qualified chemist. Sold by all chemists and stores. Price 2s 6d. Gives prompt relief to young and old. — Advt-.
