LARGE CONTRIBUTION FROM DEATH DUTIES. WELLINGTON, May 12. During the year ended March 01, 1924, tho revenue collected by the Stamp Duties Department totalled approximately £3,627,559, a decrease of £53,731 compared with the figures for the previous year. -01 this amount death duties contributed by far the greatest sum-—namelv, £1,480,899.
