Sheehy to offer for sale by public auction, at their Land Sals Room, Lower Rattray street, Dunedin, his desirable SHEEP RUN, Comprising 4670 Acres, in the County of Tuapeka, about 12 miles from Miller’s Flat, together with about 1000 sound-mouth fine-wooiled wethers now grazing thereon. The Run is held under Crowp lease for 35 years from March 1, 1923, the annual rental being £65. It is ring fenced, except where bounded by the Teviot River, which is a natural boundary, and is free of rabbits and noxious weeds. The Run is capable of carrying up to 2OCO sheep. The present flock of halfbred wethers are fme-woolled sheep, and clipped nearly Blb wool per sheep, which sold at the Dunedin wool sale in February last at prices ranging v.p to 26id per lb. Mr Sheehy’s only reason for selling this property is that, as his sons are leaving the district, having acquired a property elsewhere, he is unable to carry on without their assistance.
